garbage pickup

New rules for garbage pickup! Totes must be at the curb facing the street, wheels toward house by 5 AM. Nothing beside the tote will be taken. Totes must be at least 2 feet away from anything.

New Number for the City Code Enforcer, 402-358-1112. all calls to him will be confidential. He will be enforcing the Policies and Codes of the City. Such as Snow Removal, abandoned Vehicles, lawn care, property clean up, dog license, and others. The City Council wants our City to shine for visitors and residents.

A GREAT PRODUCT "IRON OUT" HAS BEEN FOUND THAT WILL TAKE THE RUST OUT OF YOUR CLOTHES. IF YOU WASHED A LOAD OF LAUNDRY BEFORE KNOWING THE WATER WAS RUSTY THIS PRODUCT WILL TAKE THE RUST OUT. IT IS SAFE FOR YOUR CLOTHING. IT IS AVAILABLE NOW AT WALMART. IT CAN BE FOUND IN THE PLUMBING AREA.
Police Presence

The City of Crofton now has a contract with the Knox County Sheriffs Department for patroling in the City. The hours are flexible. Call 911 to access them. There is no tractor or semi access on Omaha Street to the Elevator.
House Numbers

HOUSE NUMBERS! The City Council decided all houses and dwellings in Crofton must have a house number visible to the road. Please number your residence asap.
