KAYAK. RUN. BIKE. A new kind of triathlon in Northeast Nebraska along the picturesque Lewis & Clark Lake! Competitors will KAYAK on the lake, RUN a 5K through the Weigand campground and BIKE 12 miles into downtown Crofton for a Bar-B-Q and celebration. Teams or individual participants are welcome. Southside City Park is the site of more than 200 flags honoring deceased Crofton veterans. The flags are displayed Memorial Weekend, July 4, and November 11. Each flag honors, by name, those individuals who have either died in service to their country, or have returned to Crofton, to live out their lives.
